Rashmika to be the lead on the Ye Maaya Chesave sequel?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya starrer, Ye Maaya Chesave was one of the biggest hits of 2010 and now it has been reported that the makers are planning to make a sequel of the movie. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon is working on the script of the sequel however, as the first part featured ex-couple Samantha and Chaitanya, the makers are having trouble with the casting.

Now, rumors are going on that Rashmika Mandanna will mostly like replace Samantha in this sequel. Though no official announcement has been made so far on the subject Rashmika’s fans are happy to witness, the actress being part of another love story. Other names are also coming up on the reports but the makers have yet to give official words on this subject.

On the work front, Rashmika is currently busy with Pushpa 2 and the OTT release of her Bollywood movie Mission Majnu. Chaitanya on the other hand is currently gearing up for the release of his movie Custody.

Meanwhile, Samantha is currently taking a break for her health issues and she has multiple projects under her belt which she will resume after feeling better.
