Sonu Sood’s contributions during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic made the actor a real-life hero. The actor helped thousands of people to return to their respective hometowns and recognizing his efforts, he was awarded the Nation’s Pride Award at the Society Achievers Awards 2022.
Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnav presented the award to the actor at a grand event in Mumbai last evening. “My goal has always been to transform the lives of the disadvantaged by empowering them with tools required to lead a healthy and productive life. I’m glad Sood Charity Foundations’ endeavors are getting recognized today,” Sonu said after winning the award.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithiviraj. The movie didn’t do well at the box office, but Sonu Sood’s performance in the venture was well received by the viewers. Next, the actor will be seen in an action avatar in Fateh.
