Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Shakuntalam trailer gets a release date; Details inside

A few days ago the release date of Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Shakuntalam was announced by the makers. The movie was previously set to hit the theaters in November last year but now it is releasing on February 17. Following that, Samantha shared a picture from the dubbing studio to let her fans know that she has started the dubbing of this movie.

Now according to the latest updates, the makers have decided to release the trailer of the movie on January 9. As per the reports, the trailer will be released at 12: 06 pm Monday.

Coming back to the movie, Shaakuntalam will be the first release of Samantha after being diagnosed with Myositis. This will also be the first release of the actress in 2023. This movie is written and directed by Gunasekhar and it features Samantha and Dev Mohan in the lead roles. The movie is based on Kalidas’s play, Shakuntala and it is set to release in multiple languages on February 17. Aside from Samantha and Dev, the movie also stars Mohan Babu, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in supporting roles.
