Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer ‘Yashoda’ lands in legal trouble

Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Yashoda which was released on November 11, has landed in legal trouble. The movie centers around surrogacy and shows EVA hospitals in a negative light. As such, the hospital authorities have filed a petition in a Hyderabad-based civil court saying that the movie has affected their reputation.

In this regard, the Civil Couth has issued notices to halt the digital release of the movie until further hearing. The movie was set to stream digitally on December 19 but now the next hearing of the case has been set for this date.

Talking more about Yashoda, this movie is directed by Hari-Harish and it has music by Mani Sharma. The movie was released in multiple languages and it did great business in the Telugu belt compared to Hindi and Tamil versions.
