Samantha Ruth Prabhu steps out of several projects due to her health condition

Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced that she has been diagnosed with myositis a while back and due to her health she is taking some time off her work. The actress is set to complete the work of Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda but she has decided to step out of several other projects due to her health. She was set to resume the shoot of Kushi a week ago but as her health was unstable she asked the makers to postpone the dates.

To avoid such situations, the actress has decided to take a long break and walk out of a couple of Bollywood projects she had previously signed. The actress has informed the makers of these projects of her decision and they are now looking for other options to replace Samantha.

Meanwhile, the shoot of Kushi has been delayed for a while now, and respecting Samantha’s condition the makers have postponed the release to next year. Talking about this matter, Vijay Deverakonda has said, “We have done close to 60 percent of the shoot. We were originally hoping to get it out by December but now it’s been pushed to next year due to a bunch of reasons. We are eyeing February 2023 release as of now.”
