Shabana Azmi to work on a web series for the first time with Farhan Akhtar!

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has been roped in to play an important role in Shonali Bose’s web series. The actress will be working with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment on this series. It has been reported that Shabana was director Shonali’s first choice for the said role. Shonali even asked Farhan Akhtar to put in a good word with the actress.

Shabana also liked her role very much but there is one problem going forward. According to the reports, Shabana’s dates that Shonali asked for are clashing with Stevan Spielberg’s Halo Season 2. “Shabana is trying her best to work around the date clash. Halo is a commitment she made long before she was offered Shonali’s series,” said a source close to the development. “But she is excited about working with Shonali for the first time, and her son Farhan the second time,” the source added.
