Shah Rukh Khan shares a new poster of Deepika Padukone from Pathaan on her birthday; says he is ‘always proud’ of her

Today, January 5, 2023, is the birthday of Deepika Padukone, and to wish her a happy birthday, her co-star Shah Rukh Khan shared a new poster of the actress from their upcoming movie Pathaan. In the poster, Deepika has bruises and injuries on her face and she is holding a gun while wearing green military combat gear.

Sharing the poster, SRK penned a note to wish her a happy birthday. “To my dearest @deepikapadukone – how you have evolved to own the screen in every avatar possible! Always proud and always wishing for you to scale new heights… happy birthday… lots of love…” he posted.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that the trailer of Pathaan is releasing on January 10. The makers have made a few changes in the original cut for the CBFC and received a UA certificate before the trailer release. Several words and close-up shots of Deepika from the controversial Besharam Rang have been removed as per the censor board guidelines.

Talking more about the movie, Pathaan marks the third collaboration of SRK and Deepika after Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand and financed by Aditya Chopra. With John Abraham as the main villain, Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023.
