Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation donates money to Delhi hit-and-run victim Anjali Singh’s family!

Shah Rukh Khan’s NGO, Meer foundation has given monetary support to the family of the girl who died in the hit-and-run case in Delhi. For those who don’t know, recently a girl named Anjali Singh passed away after being dragged for 12 kilometers by a car after her scooter crashed into it on New year’s eve. Showing their support for the victim’s family King Khan’s NGO donated an undisclosed amount to help manage their finances in these tough times.

As Anjali was the sole breadwinner of the household, the Meer foundation want to help the family and especially her mother with her health issues. The foundation is also hoping to provide relief to the deceased’s siblings. Meanwhile, the investigation of this hit-and-run case is still going on.

Talking more about the NGO, Meer Foundation is founded by SRK in 2013 and he named it after his father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. The primary aim of this foundation is to create a world that empowers women.
