Shehzada Day 3 collection: Kartik Aaryan starrer struggling to float the box office!!

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer, Shehzada which was released on February 17 is having a terrible run at the box office despite the massive expectations of the makers and trade experts. The movie opened with Rs 6 crore and minted around Rs 6.50 crore on the second day. The movie experienced a bit of growth on the third day and managed to get Rs 7.30 crore but still, the venture could barely collect Rs 19.50 crore on its first weekend. On the other hand, Kartik’s previous theatrical release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 minted over Rs 55 crore on its first weekend.

The makers tried to use the Buy-One-Get-One-Free offer on the tickets to boost Shehzada’s collection but it didn’t help the movie at all. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which is currently in its fourth week of the theatrical run is still going strong at is about to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide.

Also, Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which was released on the same day as Shehzada has collected Rs 25 crore so far from the Indian belt.
