Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince producer blames the director for the movie’s failure
Sivakarthikeyan who gave back-to-back hits like Doctor and Don faced a setback as his recent release didn’t do well at the box office. Even the viewers thought the seamless comedy we have seen in the actor’s previous movies was forced at times and overall, the movie was hit and miss kind of case.
With the movie’s bad performance, the producers of the movie Suniel Narang, D. Suresh Babu, and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao had to bear the loss of Rs 15 crores. Finally breaking the silence on the matter K Rajan who is one of the producers of the movie said why he thinks Prince was a flop. The producer talks about how is it thanks to a good story and budget that a director’s vision come to life.” When a movie succeeds, the director gets all the credit while it is the producer who has invested the money and the writer who has written the story,” he said.
“However despite having all that the movie fails, then it’s the director’s fault. Thambi Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor and Don were successful but Prince, failed after that and the director is responsible for that,” he added on this subject.
Coming back to the movie, Prince is a Tamil-language romantic comedy movie written and directed by Anudeep KV. The movie was backed by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Suresh Productions and it was released on October 21.
