SS Rajamouli’s RRR rules over Japan’s Box Office!

SS Rajamouli’s RRR, after raking in massive achievements on several fronts was released in Japan a few weeks ago. The movie did great business at Japan’s box office and now it has been reported that SS Rajamouli’s directorial has collected over a 185Million ¥ in just 3 weeks which is around 10 crores rupees.

The movie is now all set to break Prabhas starrer Saaho’s lifetime numbers in Japan. Prabhas Saaho previously earned Rs 12.50  at the Japanese box office and Baahubali 2 collected Rs 16 crores in the lifetime run. If things go as planned, then it wouldn’t be a problem for RRR to beat Saaho’s record.

Coming back to the movie, RRR has minted Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office. The movie features, Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles and it has won several awards so far. RRR shows the story of two freedom fighters who due to unexpected circumstances became friends and fought against the British. Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the movie also features Shriya Saran, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in important cameo roles.
