SS Rajamouli’s RRR’s up for Oscar; Makers pushing the movie under the FYC!

As a Gujarati movie, The Last Show gets nominated to represent Indian at the Oscar, the makers of RRR decided to take matters into their own hands and push SS Rajamouli’s directorial to Oscar. The makers are now pushing the movie in 14 categories under the ‘For your consideration (FYC) campaign.

As RRR couldn’t be India’s official selection for Oscars 2023, many fans in India and in abroad as well showed their displeasure on Twitter. SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which received fame and love all over the world couldn’t make the official cut, so the makers have submitted the movie independently in 14 categories-

Best Actor- Jr NTR and Ram Charan

Best Supporting Actor and Actress- Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt

Best Original Song- Naatu Naatu

Best Original Score-MM Keeravani

Best Original Screenplay

Best Cinematography

Best Production Design

Best Costume Design

Best Sound

Best Film Editing and

Best Makeup & Hairstyling.

As the makers are gunning for the awards independently, joining the FYC campaign is their first and best shot towards a possible nomination at the Oscars 2023.
