Stranger Things Noah Schnapp’s loved ones aren’t shocked upon knowing he is gay

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp came out of the closet as a gay on Tiktok. The actor plays the role of a closeted gay teenager Will Pyers on the popular Netflix series Stranger Things and just like the said role Noah has been in the closet for 18 years. Finally, the actor got the courage to come out as gay via TitkTok on January 5. Many showed their support towards the actor and said they were proud of the actor for coming out as gay.

Also much to Noah’s surprise, the actor’s loved ones weren’t surprised upon finding out about the actor’s sexuality. Noah mentioned their reaction on the TikTok clip with a post saying, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know’.” In the video, the actor lip-syncs to the lyrics, “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious” to talk about the whole situation.

In July last year, the actor revealed that Will (Noah’s character) identifies as gay. “Now that he’s gotten older, they made it a very real, obvious thing. Now it’s 100 percent clear that he is gay and he does love Mike. But before, it was a slow arc,” Noah confirmed and in the said TikTok video the actor says he had more in common with Will than he had thought.
