Stylish Star Allu Arjun became the Indian of the Year in 2022!

Stylish Star Allu Arjun who recently gave a massive hit movie Pushpa is the top searched south actor on Google. His fame knows no bounds and even Bollywood celebrities are fans of the actor. Now to add to his already impressive achievements the actor has received the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2022 Award.

In actor received the award from Union Minister Smriti Irani at the event held in New Delhi. This is the first award the actor has received from North in the 20 years of his acting career. The actor thanked CNN-New18 for the award and talked about the diversity of North and South.

“I have received many awards in the South and this is the first award from the North. I am glad that we have differences like North and South. The beauty of our country is diversity. But when we made Pushpa: The Rise, it was celebrated by entire India. We are proud that it is the victory of Indian cinema. I am glad that I could entertain the audience during the tough times” Allu Arjun said.

The actor also revealed that he will now focus on Pushpa: The Rule which is the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise. The actor talked about the release date of the sequel at the event as well by saying “We are going to start shooting now. Hopefully next year (the film will be released).”
