Sunir Khetarpal signs Rakul Preet Singh in Nikhil Mahajan’s directorial!

Rakul Preet Singh who is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Chhatriwali has been roped in Sunir Khetrapal’s next production venture. The project will be directed by Nikhil Mahan and it is touted to be a mystery thriller.

“Yes, Rakul Preet Singh does have her hands full with multiple projects, and it is also true that she has been signed on for another venture. The new film that Rakul has signed is being bankrolled by Sunir Khetrapal and will be directed by Nikhil Mahajan. The film will be a full-blown mystery thriller that will feature her as the female lead,” a source close to the development revealed. Further adding to this, the source said, “The untitled venture is an adaptation of another film from a different language, so essentially it will be a remake of sorts.”

So far no official announcement has been made by the makers but it is expected that they will make a formal announcement after working out the details.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet is currently busy with multiple projects like Chhatriwali, Meri Patni Ka remake in Hindi, Ayalaan, and Indian 2.
