Sushmita Sen plays transgender activist

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has already done a web series Aarya, which earned good applauds, and the actress has signed another web series which will be for Voot Select. Here’s some interesting news that the actress will be seen playing transgender activist Gauri Sawant in the series.

Sources reveal that Sushmita Sen has loved the role as Gauri which is challenging and the story also highlights Gauri Sawant’s precious bond with her adopted child Gayatri. The six-episode drama showcases the journey, challenges, her nature and relationships of Gauri’s life.

The shooting schedules of the web series will commence from end November, while she will also be shooting for the third season of Aarya next year. Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar are producing the web series under Global Sports Entertainment and Media Solutions.
