Tamanna Bhatia, is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema. Tamanna Bhatia was born on 21 December 1989 in Bombay, Maharashtra. Her parents are Santosh and Rajni Bhatia. She has an elder brother named Anand Bhatia. She is of Sindhi Hindu descent and did her schooling at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, Mumbai. 
At the age of 13, she began learning acting and joined Prithvi Theatre for a year, where she took part in stage performance. After gaining initial experience in the film industry, she changed her screen name to “Tamannaah due to numerological reasons.
