Thalapathy 67 update: Talks with Actor Vishal going smoothly for a key role!

As Thalapathy Vijay has wrapped up the schedule of Varisu, the actor has shifted his attention to his next movie Thalapathy 67. The movie is the reunion of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj and it is getting a lot of attention from the fans.

It was previously reported that actors, like Sanjay Dutt, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Action King Arjun, and Mysskin are playing powerful villain roles in the movie. Now it has been reported that the director is in talks with actor Vishal for another powerful role in the venture. Lokesh was recently seen at the location of Vishal’s upcoming movie Mark Anthony. According to reports, as Prithiviraj has a tight schedule and couldn’t have free time for this movie, his role was offered to Vishal.

As Vishal himself is a huge fan of Thalapathy Vijay, fans are hoping, he will give his nod for the villain role against the Beast actor. Official updates regarding this development are expected to come by the end of December.

Coming back to the movie, Thalapathy 67 is touted as a gangster thriller with seven villains. The movie might be part of Lokesh’s cinematic universe aka LCU and it will have Sanjay Dutt as the lead antagonist. Lastly, it was reported that Trisha Krishnan will be playing the role of the female lead in the movie.
