Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo mints Rs 246 crore with pre-release business!

A few days ago, Lokesh Kanagaraj announced that the title of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Thalapathy 67 will be Leo. The movie has been getting attention for a while now and with all the hype going the makers have managed to make banks even though the first shooting schedule of the venture has just started a few days ago.

According to Tracktollywood.com, Leo currently has a budget of Rs 250 crore and with the pre-release business alone the venture has minted around Rs 246 crore. As per the reports, the digital rights of the venture have been sold for Rs 150 crore, the satellite rights were sold for Rs 80 crore, ad the music rights minted an additional Rs 16 crore. With these numbers alone, the fate of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj starrer is golden and further considering the actor’s last movie Varisu’s collection, one might say that Leo will give astronomical numbers at the box office.

Backed by Seven Screen Studio, Leo is most likely a part of LCU and it features Trisha as the female lead. The movie also features Arjun, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan in key roles and it is set to hit the theatres on October 19.
