Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ Tamil Nadu theatrical right goes to Seven Screen Studios!

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu is set to release on Pongal 2023 and it is currently in the postproduction phase. With the movie coming to an end, the pre-release business has already started and it has been reported that the satellite, digital, audio, etc deals of the venture have touched around 275 crores.

Also according to the latest reports, the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the movie have gone to Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios for the highest price ever in Tamil cinema history. The official announcement regarding this deal is expected to be made public soon.

For those who don’t know, Lalit Kumar previously co-produced Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Master’ and is also producing the actor’s next movie ‘Thalapathy 67’ which is expected to kickstart in December. Both movies are the collaboration of director Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Thalapathy Vijay.

Coming back to Varisu, this movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and is financed by Dil Raju. The movie has music by Thaman and it features Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, S.J. Suryah, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu.
