The Flash trailer is Out; Supergirl, Introduced, and General Zod is BACK!
The trailer of the long-awaited The Flash has been released on Super Bowl Sunday. The trailer creates quite a hype as it showed the Flashpoint, the return of Michael Keaton as Batman as well as the introduction of Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Also, the trailer shows a glimpse of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, a time-variant of Barry Allen, and the return of Michael Shannon as General Zod.
To break down the trailer, the new official synopsis for the movie reads, “Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”
Releasing in theatres on June 16, 2023, The Flash is pegged as one of the best superhero films by James Gunn. The movie features Ezra Miller as the Flash and it is financed by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco. The movie is helmed by Andy Muschietti and it will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
