The Romantics Trailer: Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir come together for a docu-series on Yash Chopra!

Today February 1, Netflix released a trailer for their upcoming docu-series on the life of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra. The series is titled the Romantics and its trailer shows Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan coming together along with several other Bollywood stars to celebrate the legacy of the late filmmaker. The reclusive head of the iconic Yash Raj Films and son of the late filmmaker Aditya Chopra also recorded his first on-camera interview for The Romantic.

The trailer starts with several celebs talking about the term ‘Bollywood’ and how they don’t like the word. Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan also says, ‘No I don’t like that word’ and even Ranbir Kapoor shares his opinion..” According to the celebs as ‘Bollywood’ does not include other film industries of India they despise it.

In the trailer, we then see stars like Amitabh Bachchan, the late Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Salim Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Lilly Singh, Madhuri Dixit,  Uday Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Manish Malhotra, Katrina Kaif and so on coming together to talk about Yash Chopra’s legacy. Also, we see the actors getting shocked upon knowing that Aditya will be giving an interview on camera after 20 years as he last gave an interview to a magazine in 1995.

Set to stream on Netflix on February 14, 2023, The Romantics is a tribute to Yash Chopra the ‘Father of Romance’ and it is directed by Smriti Mundhra.
