The set of Sanjay Dutt’s production venture, The Virgin Tree caught fire

Sanjay Dutt recently set up his production company, Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt.Ltd and announced his first movie under the banner last month. The movie was titled The Virgin Tree and it featured Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari as lead actors. The venture went to the floor recently and it has now been reported that the set of The Virgin Tree has caught fire.

“It all happened when Mouni Roy was shooting for her scene when the camera’s light busted, and the set caught fire. The film’s shoot was put to a halt for more than couple of hours. However, soon afterwards the fire brigade team got the situation under control following which no causalities are reported,” said a source close to the project. The source also revealed that 20-30% of the set has been damaged by the fire.

The shooting of the Virgin Tree is expected to resume soon after proper precautions are taken. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is currently engaged with other projects like Baap and Thalapathy 67.
