TN Government orders probe on Nayanthara, Vignesh surrogacy

Married Celebrity Couple Nayanthara and Vignesh have welcomed the twin boys born through surrogacy, four months after their marriage. The news and the pictures went viral as soon as Vignesh has revealed the news on his Social media handle.

However a controversy has arisen regarding the surrogacy. Tamil Nadu Health Minister Subramanian said the government would seek an explanation whether the couple had followed surrogacy legalities.

“According to the rules, adult married women can only donate eggs with the permission of her parents or husband. We will ask the director of medical services to inquire whether they are following the process,” said the Health Minister.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in June at a resort in Mahabalipuram.
