Dhanush starrer Vaathi is set to hit the theatres worldwide this Friday. The movie is a bilingual movie and it has now passed the censor formalities. The movie received a ‘U” certificate from the CBFC and its runtime is reported to be 2 hours 19 minutes and 36 seconds.

Helmed by Venky Atluri, Vaathi is financed by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas. The movie has music by GV Prakash Kumar and it features Dhanush and Samyuktha as the leading pair. The movie has Samuthirakani as the lead antagonist and Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi, and Praveena in other key roles.

‘Vaathi’ aka ‘Sir’ sends a message on the importance of school education and Dhanush will be seen challenging the corrupt education system in this venture. Billed as a family entertainer, Vaarthi is made to match the taste of both Telugu and Tamil audiences.
