Varisu release date confirmed: New poster featuring Thalapathy Vijay unveiled on Diwali!

A few days ago, the makers of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu announced that they would be releasing the first single of the movie on the occasion of Diwali. However, as they were not able to keep their promise due to technical difficulties they made up to the fans, by unveiling a new poster of the movie.

The actor looks like he is carrying a sledgehammer on the poster and goons are seen lying in the background. Vijay is seen in black attire with an intense look on his face. Also, it has been confirmed that like every year’s tradition, the actor’s movie will release with a festive release this Pongal.

It has been reported that the actor has wrapped the last schedule of the venture and is headed to Dubai today to meet his son Sanjay.”The makers are currently working on pre-release promotions and plan to release the film’s first single during Diwali week. However, there is still a bit of confusion and a possible delay in the release of the first song though Vijay has approved a few poster-look photos already,” said the source regarding the promised single.

Talking more about the movie, Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie features Rashmika Mandanna opposite Vijay with Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Yogi Babu, and Samyuktha in supporting roles.
