Varisu release date: Thalapathy Vijay starrer to release on January 12!

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu which will is set for Pongal has a fixed release date now. The distributors of the movie have announced that the bilingual movie will release on January 12, 2023. This confirmation has made sure that there will be a big clash at the Tamil box office between Varisu and Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu.

Furthermore, the Telugu version of the movie, Vaarasudu is also clashing at the Sankranthi box office with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. In the Hindi belt, the movie was set to clash with Prabhas starrer Adipurush but as Om Raut has postponed his directorial movie, Varisu is not facing any major clash from Bollywood.

Talking more about the movie, Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and it features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Aside from the lead cast, the movie also features Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Yogi Babu, and Samyuktha in other important roles. The movie is financed by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and it is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on January 12, 2023.
