Veera Simha Reddy box office collection day 1: Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer beats Varisu and Thunivu on the opening day!

Yesterday January 12, Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy was released and the movie did great on its opening day. The movie has minted a better collection on the opening than Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith’s Thunivu. According to the reports, Veera Simha Reddy earned around Rs 32 crore at the box office on the opening day. On the other hand, Tamil movies like Varisu and Thunivu earned somewhere around Rs 26 crore on the first day due to the clash.

However, the movie is not yet out of the danger zone at the moment. As Veera Simha Reddy has received a lot of bad reviews and it is also facing a major clash with the release of Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya today, it is expected that the collection will fall a bit in the coming days.

Coming back to the movie, Veera Simha Reddy is directed by Gopichand Malineni and financed by Mythri Movie Makers. The movie features Shruti Haasan as the female lead opposite Balakrishna and it also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, and Duniya Vijay in other key roles.
