Veteran Tollywood star Kaikala Satyanarayana passes away; South cinema expresses grief on the Internet

Today, shocking news hit the South cinema one of the veteran Tollywood actors Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away at the age of 87 on December 23. According to the reports, the actor passed away at his Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad today after suffering from a short-term illness. The actor is survived by his wife, son, and two daughters. The last rite of the late actor will take place tomorrow at Mahaprasthanam crematorium in Jubilee Hills.

For those who don’t know, the actor has been a part of more than 750 movies and he started his career by working as a body double for NTR. Recognizing his massive contribution to south cinema several stars like Chiranjeevi, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teva, Ram Charan, Nani, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arun among others have posted a heartfelt notes for the departed actor on Twitter.

“Extremely saddened by the passing away of #KaikalaSatyanarayana garu. I have some very fond memories of working with him. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏,” Mahesh Babu tweeted.
