Vicky Kaushal starrer Govinda Naam Mera’s OTT release announced!
Previously it was reported that Vicky Kaushal starrer Govinda Naam Mera has opted for a digital release instead of a theatrical one. Following through on this, the makers have now announced that the movie will release on Disney+ Hotstar by sharing a quirky video of Vicky and Karan Johar.

The video starts with Karan Johar talking about how Vicky only picks intense roles like freedom fighter and commando. “Kabhi freedom fighter, to kabhi commando. Dukh tera khatam hi nahi hota hai,” KJo said. He then adds that the actor should do more entertaining roles by saying, “I want to see fun Vicky.”
Karan then pitches a story to the actor and gives him an option between Govinda Naam Mera or Student Of The Year 3. Vicky chooses Govinda Naam Mera and the video came to an end. Vicky shared this video on his Instagram handle with a caption saying, “Picked the #FunVicky option. See you soon! Sambhaal lena. #GovindaNaamMera coming soon only on @disneyplushotstar!”

Talking more about the movie, Govinda Naam Mera is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and it is co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. Aside from Vicky, the movie features Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
