Vignesh Shivan’s movies postponed; Ajith Kumar’s AK62 to be a Magizh Thirumeni venture!

Previously it was reported that Vignesh Shivan will team up with Ajith Kumar for a movie tentatively titled AK62. However recently it has been reported that the said project has been postponed and a new director has been roped in for Ajith’s 62^nd movie.

According to the latest update, director Magizh Thirumeni has been roped in to direct Ajith’s AK 62. It is reported that Magizh impressed Ajith with his narration and replaced Vignesh. The official announcement regarding this collab is expected to be made soon. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Vignesh Shivan’s movie has just been postponed at the moment and not shelved. After AK62, the chances of Ajith circling back at Vignesh’s movie is quite high.

On the other hand, it has also been reported that to match the hype of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Thalapathy 67, Ajith wanted a strong script for AK62.
