Vijay Antony appeals to the court for strict punishment for Sathish in Sathya’s murder case

The murder case of 20-year-old college student Sathya Priya who was pushed onto a moving train by her stalker has shaken the entire nation. This incident happen at Chennai’s St Thomas Mount station and the accused in the case 23-year-old Sathish Kumar has been arrested by the police.

Many are asking for strict punishment against the man for doing such a sinful act and actor Vijay Antony has also appealed to the court to not be lenient in this case.  “On behalf of Sathya, I am begging the judge to punish Sathish, who killed her and caused the suicide of Sathya’s father, and to please immediately investigate the incident and punish him by throwing him in front of a train rather than waiting for another 10 years to hang him to death,” he wrote on Twitter.

The police have also revealed that Sathish continued to harass Sathya for a year before pushing her in front of a moving train. A case of murder has been filed against him under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code on Thursday. Furthermore, it was reported that the deceased girl’s father Manickam also passed away from a heart attack upon hearing about her daughter’s death on the same day.
