Vijay Devarkonda after ED’s interrogation; Says, “I did my duty when I was called”

After director Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmme Kaur, Vijay Deverakonda was brought in for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate regarding the illegal funding of their movie Liger. The star was questioned for 12 hours and he was asked about the funding and remunerations he got for his role.

After the interrogation, the actor gave his statement to the media saying he did his duty when he was called. “I gave a few answers to the questions asked by the ED officials. They have done their job. The popularity that comes with the love also has some side effects. This is an experience, its life. I did my duty when I was called. They did not tell me to come again,” the actor said to the media portals after the interrogation.

For those who don’t know, after Congress leader Bakka Judson filed a complaint against Liger with the ED in August, the investigation on the Liger team started. Bakka Judson claimed that many politicians had invested in the money for money laundering purposes. After that a few days ago director Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmme Kaur were called in for questioning by the ED to investigate the source of investment for the movie.
