Vijay Sethupathi to replace Udhayanidhi Stalin in Kamal Haasan’s RKFI54?

A while back it was announced that Udhayanidhi Stalin will be playing the lead role in Kamal Haasan’s next production venture RKFI54. However, after Stalin become the Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister last week, he announced that Mari Selvaraj’s ‘Maamannan’ will be his last movie. Focusing on his political responsibilities, Stalin walked out of Kamal Haasan’s venture.

Now, it has been reported that Kamal Haasan has roped in Vijay Sethupathi to replace Stalin in RKFI54. Vijay will be playing the lead role of an intense and politically charged character in this project. The official announcement of this development is expected to be made soon.

Meanwhile, Stalin is currently financing Kamal Haasan’s upcoming movie Indian 2 as well as ‘KH234’. Indian 2 is being directed by Shankar and KH234 will be directed by Mani Ratnam.

Vijay Sethupathi on the other hand will be joining Kamal Haasan for KH233 and currently, he is starring in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
