Vijay’s Varisu director gives the needed clarification

It is known news that Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally is donning the director cap for Vijay’s Varisu movie slated for Pongal 2023 release. The director in an interview has answered that Varisu is completely a Tamil movie, and not a bilingual flick. So Varisu is being dubbed as Varasudu in Telugu, and it is being made directly in Tamil.

Thalapathy Vijay has almost wrapped up the shoot of Varisu except for the patch work which is being wrapped up now. The post-production works are already in progress, and Varisu pre-release business including satellite, digital, audio and more, has touched around 275 Crores.

Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Varisu for undisclosed whopping price. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead while Varisu also has Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sarathkumar, Meena, Khusbhu, Sneha, Maheswari, and Sanghavi in key roles.
