24 and Runaways actor Annie Wersching died in the battle with cancer!

Annie Wersching who is famous for her role in shows like “24” and for providing the voice for Tess in the video game “The Last of US” passed away. The actor was battling with cancer for some time and she passed away Sunday, Jan 29, 2023, in Los Angeles at the age of 45. Her publicist told the Associated Press about her death but the type of cancer she battled with has not been specified.

Born and raised in St Louis, Missouri, Wersching had done a dozen of television shows over her two-decade career. She was most recently seen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard as the Borg Queen and she has been part of popular shows like The Vampire Diaries, Marvel’s Runaways, and The Rookie.

For those who don’t know, Wershing was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and she continued working despite her health conditions. She is survived by her husband, actor Stephen Full, and three sons and a GoFundMe page have been set up to support her family.
