Arun Vijay, to replace Suriya in Bala’s directorial movie ‘Vanangaan’!

Suriya and Bala who gave two hit movies like ‘Nandhaa’ and ‘Pitha Magan’ reunited once more for another project titled ‘Vanangaan’. Suriya was bankrolling the project under his banner 2D Entertainment and Krithi Shetty was roped in to play the role of the female lead.

The team kickstarted the project a while ago however, after 40 days of shooting in the Kanyakumari district and midsea in the Indian Ocean, the project came to a halt due to creative differences between Suriya and Bala. After several months of back and forth, Suriya walked out of the project, and his 2D Entertainment also officially announced that they are not a part of Vanangaan anymore.

Director Bala who announced that he will be continuing the project was initially in talks with Atharvaa to replace Suriya but now it has been reported that Arun Vijay has been approached for the lead role instead. According to the reports, Arun Vijay liked the script and is ready to sign the project. The official announcement about the said development is expected to be made soon.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay currently has ‘Borrder’ and ‘Agni Siragugal’ under his pipeline. He is shooting for ‘Accham Enbathu Illaye’ which is directed by Vijay and has Amy Jackson as the female lead.
