Deepika Padukone, to be the first female cop in Rohit Shetty’s universe!

The first song of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie Cirkus was released today and during the lunch event of the song, he shared exciting details of his next project. The director confirmed that Deepika Padukone who was at the event will be part of Singham 3. He also revealed that Deepika will be playing the role of a female cop in the movie and they will start shooting next year.

“We are making Singham next. Everyone kept asking me who is the lady cop in my universe. So today, let me confirm that Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham, the lady cop in Singham 3. We start shooting next year,” said Rohit Shetty.

For those who don’t know, Rohit Shetty’s cop universe has projects like Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Deepika will be the first female cop in this universe and it will also mark the first on-screen collaboration between Ajay Devgn and the Om Shanti Om actress.
