HIT 2 movie review: Adivi Sesh starrer delivers a solid thriller experience

Adivi Sesh starrer HIT 2 was released today and it is getting a lot of good reviews from the fans. Apart from a few points, the movie has done a good job to entertain the viewers and it won’t be wrong to say that the makers have progressed forward in the sequel.

The plot of the movie as seen in the trailer is a chase between a cop, KD (Adivi Sesh), and a serial killer. Adivi Sesh has played his part well as the cop however, his performance, when he needs to show emotions, is still a bit not up to the mark. Nonetheless, his rough and cocky attitude during the start more than justifies it as the character’s personality trait.

The makers have also done their research from profiling the serial killer to the killer’s M.O everything looks well thought out but a bit more research would have made the movie even more exciting. Also, the pre-climax scene is like a sore thumb that feels forced and out of place. Had they executed that scene well, the lead-up to the climax would have been much better.

Other than that, the movie is great, the screenplay, casting, actors’ performance, and runtime all are plus points in the movie.

If you are into crime thrillers and dramas then you can check the movie out. The plot is good and the research done by the makers is also commendable unlike the wishy-washy whims of the writer. All characters perform well to give a thrilling experience and the movie is definitely worth a watch.
