Kangana Ranaut to play the title role in the sequel of Chandramukhi!

Four times National Award-winning actor Kangana Ranaut will now be playing the title role in the squeal of Chandramukhi. The first part of the movie featured Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles and it was released in 2005. A few months back the makers announced the sequel of the movie and confirmed that Raghava Lawrence will be playing the lead in this venture.

Now it has been reported that Kangana will be playing the female lead in the venture opposite Raghava. It has also been reported that the actress will start the first schedule of the movie in the first week of December. As the actress is also busy with her upcoming movie Emergency, she will start the second schedule of Chandramukhi after wrapping up the shoot of her movie in January.

Chandramukhi is being helmed by P. Vasu and financed by Lyca Productions and it will be Kangana’s 2^nd Tamil project after Thalavii.

Meanwhile, Kangana also has projects like Tejas, Emergency, and Noti Binodini under her belt.
