Kartik Aaryan is hoping for the success of Shehzada and says ‘Our industry needs it’

The trailer of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer movie Shehzada was released today. The makers hold a grand event for the trailer launch at Bandra’s Gaiety Galaxy and Kartik and Kriti along with the entire team of Shehzada were present at the scene. The team interacted with the media and talked about the movie at the event.

Talking about the movie, Kartik said that he is hoping for the movie to do well as ‘our industry needs it.’ As Bollywood had a tough time last year and Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was one of the few movies that did well at the box office, expectations with Shehzada are quite high. Even Kartik has a lot of expectations with the movie and he said he is hoping that it does better than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. “I hope Shehzada is a bigger hit than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. I hope it entertains the audience. I want more and more people to watch Shehzada,” Kartik said at the event. “Fingers crossed. I hope Shehzada does well. Our industry needs it. The film is a massy family entertainer, which audience see in huge numbers,” he further added.

Coming back to the movie, Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and it stars Kartik, Kriti, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, Rajpal Yadav, and Sachin Khedekar in key roles. The movie is financed by Bhushan Kumar and it is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. With music from Pritam, this movie is set to release on February 10.
