Kuttey censor report; Here’s a deets of what was changed in Arjun Kapoor Starrer!

Recently we reported that Pathaan had to make some major changes in the movie as per the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) guidelines. Now we are here to present you the changes Arjun Kapoor starrer Kuttey had to make to get an A certificate from the board.

According to the reports, some 10 changes were implemented by the makers. Most of these changes involved adding or modifying disclaimers. The report says the makers have added a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie stating that the filmmaker or any person involved in this venture has no intention to insult the image of the police or class of person(s) in any manner whatsoever. Another disclaimer states that no one from the movie encourages or promotes the involvement of children in any form of crime. Also, an anti-drug disclaimer was added and the font size of the anti-smoking ticker was increased.

As for dialogues and audio, the cuss word ‘m*******d’ was replaced with ‘b******d’. The scenes where characters utter ‘b******d’ have been replaced with ‘b******e’ and ‘harami’. Lastly, ‘B******d’ has been muted at several places where ‘it was not directly intended for a person’. Also, dialogues like ‘Naya naya musalman’ was replaced by ‘Naya naya pandu’ and the mention of Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh have been removed from Prime Minister’s speech scene.

Frontal nudity in the intimate scenes has also been ‘modified suitably’ to get that A certificate from the board on December 30, 2022. After all these changes and cuts, the movie has a runtime of 112 minutes which is roughly 1 hour and 52 minutes.

Talking more about the movie, Kuttey stars Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra, and Shardul Bhardwaj. The movie is directed by debutant director  Aasmaan Bhardwaj and it is set to release in cinemas on January 13.
