Ram Charan gets True Legend- Future of Young India Award at NDTV event!

Ram Charan who recently returned from New Zealand after wrapping a 10-day-long schedule for his upcoming movie RC15 graced the NDTV event yesterday. The actor received an award titled ‘True Legend- Future of Young India Award in Entertainment.

When receiving the award, the host asked the actor to dance to his iconic song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR. Replying to that request the actor jokingly said, his knee hurts whenever someone mentions that song. “Ma’am, if one mentions that song, my knees start to hurt. I already have one Rajamouli. Don’t be another Rajamouli,” the actor replied jokingly to the host’s request.

Meanwhile, his movie RRR is currently breaking several records and getting recognition on a global stage. The movie was recently released in Japan and it did great business there. Yesterday, SS Rajamouly also won the Best Director Award for this movie at the NYFCC beating Hollywood directors like Steven Spielberg, Darron Aronofsky, Sarah Polley, and Gina Prince-Blythewood.
