Tamil Nadu govt bans the early morning shows of ‘Thunivu’ and ‘Varisu’

Ajith Kumar starrer Thunivu and Thalapathy Vijay starrer have created a lot of buzz on the internet and fans are eagerly waiting for the release of both movies. Both movies will be released tomorrow with Thunivu releasing at 1 am and Varisu at 4 am in most cities and towns in Tamil Nadu.

However, it is not all good news for the fans as the Tamil Nadu government has issued a ban on the early morning shows from January 13 to 16. The government has also prohibited putting up tall banners on theatres premises which the fans usually do during the first shows of the movies of their favorite heroes. Nonetheless, to not affect the movies moe the early morning shows on January 11 and 12 will not be subject to this ban.

Coming back to the movie, Thunivu is directed by H Vinoth and financed by Boney Kapoor. The movie features Ajith and Manju Warrier in the lead roles.

Varisu

On the other hand, Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and financed by Dil Raju. The movie stars Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
