Vijay’s Varisu Vs Ajith’s Thunivu for Pongal 2023

If the reports are to be believed, the clash of Vijay’s Varisu vs Ajith’s Thunivu seem inevitable at the Box-office. Ajith starrer Thunivu is initially slated for a later release date, but with the movie’s shoot progressing at a rapid pace, the makers have preponed the release to January 12th according to buzz.

Vijay’s Varisu has reached the final leg of the shoot, and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by 27th October. The promotional campaign of Varisu will begin from Diwali as the makers will be releasing the first single.

Varisu is an action packed family entertainer, featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Varasudu is taking shape in the hands of director Vamsi Paidipally with SS Thaman composing tunes. Prakash Raj and Prabhudeva will be seen in key roles.

On the other hand, Ajith’s Thunivu taking shape in the hands of director H. Vinoth, is being produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects and Zee Studios. Manju Warrier plays the female lead
